Pet passports

With the introduction of the pet passport scheme it is now possible to take your dog out of the UK and bring it back again without it having to be placed into quarantine. However you must obtain a pet passport if you want to travel outside the UK with you pet. It can be time consuming and expensive to obtain a pet passport but the vets at our surgery are happy to explain the procedures and costs involved.

NOVEMBER 2018 UPDATE

PET TRAVEL

With the uncertainty of the Brexit negotiations, the APHA have advised Practices that they may need to prepare clients for some possible significant changes to the Pet Travel Scheme.  A letter will be sent to each affected client and further updates will be issued accordingly.  Please find a link below to the government website for further information on being prepared for a no-deal Brexit, and do not hesitate to contact the Practice if you have any queries or concerns about European Travel from 29th March 2019.
